A hearing scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2012, to receive public comment on the department’s notice of intent to promulgate the income tax rule amending LAC 61:I.1907, has been relocated. The hearing will take place from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the La Belle Room located on the first floor of the Louisiana Department of Revenue’s headquarters in the LaSalle Building, 617 North Third Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The hearing was previously scheduled to be held in the Calcasieu Room, located on the second floor in the LaSalle Building.

The proposed amendment to LAC 61:I.1907 clarifies the application of the Income Tax Credits for Wind or Solar Energy Systems provided by La. Rev. Stat. Ann. 47:6030 for those taxpayers who purchase and install wind or solar energy systems.
